about

This prayer was first said by the Buddha himself. During Ru-chok, a part of the bone of the deceased person is used, helping the meditators to visualise him or her to be present. These physical remains provide a close connection between the practitioner and the deceased, and through this connection or attachment, the practitioner offers blessings and teachings, purification from all negative actions and broken commitments in a previous life, leading to a quick rebirth into a good family.
